Salma Hayek has posed with her first child, Valentina Paloma Pinault, born on September 21. The Mexican is engaged to French billionare Francois-Henri Pinault, a chief executive officer of PPR, a luxury goods company that owns brands including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Balenciaga.

Salma Hayeck and her fiancee Francois Henri Pinault are overjoyed with the arrival of their first baby girl. The actress gave birth to Valentina Paloma Pinault on Friday. Salma’s representative Cari Ross said: "Mother and daughter are doing well," but no further information has not been revealed. This is Salma's first child, while Pinault has two children from a previous marriage that finishes in 2004. The brunette star previously admitted having no rush to start a family, "Motherhood is not for everyone. It is for me, but there's no reason women should feel rushed to have a child." Congratulations to the new parents!
Salma to star in a romantic film - 2007-08-28
Salma Hayek is gearing up to star in a romantic comedy for a big production corporation. The actress will also executive produce the movie with Jose Tamez, her partner at the company. The movie is about a conservative doctor who gets the surprise of his life when he finds out that the ex-boyfriend of his fiancee, (Hayek) is an international Latin superstar who has flown to LA to win her back. The script have been penned by Scribes Ed Decter and John Strauss Hayek will also put her voice for a movie called South of the Border.
